Your Personal Data Obtained Before the Personal Data Protection Law Takes Effect

Given Penezoğlu Law’s website was not live before April 7, 2016, which is the effective date of the Personal Data Protection Law (the “Law”), there is no personal data stored prior to such date.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

In accordance with Article 12 of the Law, Penezoğlu Law is liable to protect the systems and databases where your personal data is stored, to prevent unlawful processing of and unauthorised access to your personal data, to take precautions by using software solutions such as hash, encryption, action log, access management and to take physical security measures in order to protect this data. If we become aware of the fact that your personal data has been unlawfully obtained by third parties, this will be forthwith notified in writing to the Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with the legislation.
