Penezoğlu Law processes your personal data limited to the purposes of contacting you, fulfilling your requests, conducting or performing a contract, and fulfilling the burden of proof and legal liabilities, in line with the views and requests you have stated.

Manner of Collection of Your Personal Data and the Legal Reason for Processing

Penezoğlu Law processes your personal data within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5 of the Law, based on the following legal reasons; (i) to enter into an employment agreement, (ii) to manage the job application process, and (iii) in case data processing is mandatory for Penezoğlu Law’s legitimate interests provided that these does not harm your fundamental rights and freedom.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your personal data consisting of your full name, phone number and email address and other personal data provided by you in the Contact us and Career sections may be transferred by Penezoğlu Law to the third party that is outsourced to provide technical services for data transferring under the personal data processing conditions of articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

In the case of a job application, your personal data consisting of your full name, email address, phone number and resume may be transferred by Penezoğlu Law to the third party that is outsourced to provide technical services for data transferring under the personal data processing conditions of articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

In addition, in case any public administration, person, authority or institution is authorized to request your personal data, your personal data may be transferred to the relevant person, authority or institution in accordance with the personal data protection legislation. Requests received from judicial authorities shall also be fulfilled in accordance with the legislation. In the event that the mentioned liabilities arise under Turkish Law, the legal basis of the mentioned data processing activity will be establishment, exercise or protection of any right in compliance with a legal liability or likewise.

Your Rights Regarding Protection of Your Personal Data

 Under article 11 of the Law, you are entitled to the following rights as the data subject:

  • Request information on whether or not your personal data are processed;
  • Request information if your personal data have been processed;
  • Request information about the purpose of processing and if your personal data have been used for the purposes described,
  • Receive information about the third parties whom your personal data are transferred in Turkey and abroad;
  • Request correction of your personal data if they are inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation;
  • Request notification is made to the third parties about correction, deletion and destruction of your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation;
  • Object to any result against you arising from analysis of the processed data by automated systems only,
  • Request compensation for the damages arising from unlawful processing of your personal data.
